About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work Area Manager to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our mail centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of employees to achieve operational targets and improve efficiency
  • Champion health and safety initiatives and ensure a safe working environment
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance customer service and operational performance
  • Support the Shift Manager in providing a high-quality service to our customers
  • Manage employee attendance, training, and development
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with excellent leadership and communication skills, who is flexible and able to work under pressure. You must have a proven track record of managing teams and improving operational performance.

As a leader within the business, you will be expected to demonstrate the following skills:
