Work Area Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work Area Manager to join our team at the Swindon Mail Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our mail centre.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of employees to achieve operational targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the mail centre, including supervising staff and coordinating activities
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve business objectives and improve customer experience
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a mail or logistics environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols
