About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Work Area Manager to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our mail centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of employees to achieve operational targets and provide a high-quality service to our customers.
- Champion health and safety initiatives and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency.
- Support the Shift Manager and provide line management responsibility for team members.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience of managing a team and achieving operational targets.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and ability to identify areas for improvement.
