About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled People Operations Team Lead to join our expanding team at HeliosX Group. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for owning key People Operations processes and policies spanning the full employee lifecycle.

This includes onboarding and offboarding, contracts, performance management, benefits administration, wellbeing, people data and reporting, employee engagement, and more. You will have the opportunity to shape the People Operations function in a high-growth, international business.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week expected in the office in Central London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the People Operations team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of People programmes and services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different functions; work in tandem with them to ensure alignment of People Operations initiatives with overall business goals
  • Implement innovative solutions to streamline people processes and policies, enhancing the quality of services provided to our internal customers
  • Utilise data and analytics to inform decision-making processes
  • Monitor key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement using our people data
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a seamless transition into the company
  • Administer the employee benefits program and ensure compliance with all labour laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS and other systems
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues for your assigned business area
  • Ensure all People Operations activities comply with legal and ethical standards in all locations
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in People Operations and incorporate them into our strategies/approaches.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in a People Operations or People Service Delivery role(s)
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and best practices
  • Demonstrable experience auditing, designing, building, and iterating key HR/People processes
  • Prior experience in an international and/or high-growth business
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; prior experience working with people data
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR tools (we use BambooHR, Lattice, and Enboarder, though experience with specific platforms is not required)
  • Whilst not a requirement, prior experience line managing People Ops colleagues or small teams would be considered an advantage.
