The Operations Team Lead role at Terry Soot MG plays a pivotal part in overseeing daily operations, offering guidance and management to team members as needed. Reporting to the Country Manager, this role is key in driving success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of Data Collection Driving Operations field resources.
  • Drive day-to-day operations following established standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to identifying knowledge gaps, coaching, mentoring, and the professional development of field surveyors.
  • Conduct regular reviews with teams and Program Managers.
  • Host team meetings to disseminate relevant information to the team.
  • Collaborate with other team members to manage the collective workload and coordinate logistics, including coverage for team members as required.
  • Offer Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice on regional issues and concerns.
  • Strengthen relationships with internal and external customers and vendor/partner organizations.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly business review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing reporting details.
  • Provide status reports as needed.
  • Support special projects, including invoice verification and reporting metrics.
  • Work with internal teams and external vendor/partner teams to provide resource planning support for applicable projects and programs.
  • Assist in maintaining resource forecasts in conjunction with customers for vendor/partner sourcing organizations.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and financial controls.
  • Identify and monitor performance trends, taking necessary corrective actions to meet SLA targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Offer insight, guidance, Continual Service Improvement, and Service Assurance support.
  • Drive service improvement programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure Root Cause Analysis contains proper analysis methodology, documented actions, root cause identification, and effective proactive and corrective actions.
  • Escalate issues to the management team as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience as a people manager and/or operations lead.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work at a fast pace, manage a heavy email flow, and be interruptible to address urgent program issues.
  • Effective people management skills, including communication, understanding, respect, rapport-building, clear expectations, and constructive feedback.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record.
  • Team player willing to assist when and where needed.
  • Ability to analyze data and establish measurable action plans to improve performance.
  • Ability to travel.
