About the Role

The Strategic Marketing Professional will be responsible for overseeing and executing marketing initiatives to align with the company's long-term goals and brand identity. This role involves ensuring cohesive marketing efforts across all channels, resonating with customers, and driving increased brand awareness and revenue.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness
  • Supervising the marketing department and providing guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals
  • Producing ideas for promotional events or activities and organizing them efficiently
  • Collaborating with the Director to build, plan, and execute brand and industry campaigns
  • Maintaining progress, goals, and KPIs using reports and dashboards
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure a unified approach to customer service, distribution, etc., that meets market demands
  • Defining marketing materials and programs and managing their production and distribution
  • Conducting market research to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Holding hands-on experience using tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Monday.com
  • Managing marketing budget and reporting spend
  • Understanding the overall business and marketing strategy and creating a marketing plan for specific industries
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across sales and the central marketing team to ensure buy-in to future marketing campaigns and resources are maximized
  • Creating collateral and content to help the sales team convert more prospects
  • Targeting market segments with integrated marketing campaigns to generate demand and convert into leads. Campaigns can include ABM, paid social, trade shows, conferences, webinars, email marketing, and direct mail.

Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Design or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in a branding, communications, public relations, or journalism-driven role either at a brand, startup, or agency
  • Fundamental understanding of the media landscape (traditional, social)
  • Excellent interviewing, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in public relations and communications at a senior level
  • Proven experience defining and implementing PR strategies and measuring impact of programs
