Role Overview

As a Senior Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our workforce and fostering a culture of safety across all our projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety protocols, providing guidance to site teams, and conducting regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review detailed Health and Safety protocols tailored to each construction project.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to site teams on SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) management systems.
  • Promote and enforce high SHE standards within contracts and throughout the supply chain.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and actively participate in Site Review Meetings.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify potential SHE risks and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Maintain strong communication channels with relevant enforcing authorities regarding SHE compliance.
  • Create comprehensive site-specific audit and inspection packs for meticulous evaluation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in statutory compliance, risk assessments, and auditing within the construction sector.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dedicated Risk Manager role.
  • Relevant H&S qualifications such as NCRQ or NEBOSH.
  • Proficiency in IT applications relevant to SHE management.
