Health and Safety Specialist

At Pertemps Thames Water, we are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Design and deliver training programs on health and safety best practices for employees.
- Prepare and present reports on health and safety performance to senior management.
- Experience in managing safety in the construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
- Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (Plus bank holidays).
- Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% - 2x employee contribution.
