About the Role

Join Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited as a Health & Safety Advisor and contribute to the success of one of the UK's largest construction and concrete frame contractors. With over 5 decades of experience in the construction industry, this organisation operates across various sectors, including commercial, transport infrastructure, residential, retail, aviation, stadia, car parks, and scientific sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to prevent injuries and damage to plant and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve existing working methods and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Provide guidance on the use of protective clothing and equipment, and ensure all necessary test certificates are valid and compliant with statutory requirements.
  • Assist in the development of site safety organisations, arrangements, and fire precautions, and provide input on methods of safe working.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and ensure the organisation remains compliant.
