About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Hays Construction and Property. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting and advising on all aspects of health and safety within our construction company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prevent injury to personnel and damage to plant and equipment
  • Improve existing working methods
  • Ensure legal requirements affecting health, safety, and welfare are met
  • Provide and use protective clothing and equipment
  • Evaluate the suitability of plant, equipment, materials, and services from a safety viewpoint
  • Identify potential hazards arising from contracts and site safety organisation
  • Assist with tendering, planning, and pre-contract stages to advise on safety, health, and welfare matters
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and a proven track record of promoting a safe working environment. You will also need to be security cleared.
