About the Role

You will be working for one of the UK's largest construction and concrete frame contractors with over 5 decades of experience in the construction industry. This organisation operates within the commercial, transport infrastructure, residential, retail, aviation, stadia, car parks and scientific sectors, for both public and private clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to prevent injury to personnel and damage to plant and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and ensure that the organisation's health and safety policies and procedures are compliant.

Requirements

  • Security clearance
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
