About the Role

Your new company, a leading engineering and maintenance service provider, is seeking a highly skilled Senior HSE Advisor to join their team. As a key member of the HSE team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and line management to safety advisors within the team.
  • Work closely with the existing leader to provide strategic guidance to the HSE team.
  • Ensure the project aligns with regional health and safety goals.
  • Support and guide project managers on all HSE matters.
  • Ensure all work activities comply with company and site safety procedures.
  • Promote a Safety First culture, delivering toolbox talks and safety-related training as required.
  • Track and report HSE metrics in line with regional requirements.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Plan and conduct HSE audits, ensuring timely closeout of any actions.
  • Promote safe card submission within the team, monitor all cards submitted, and follow up actions with relevant managers.
  • Ensure excellent communication with project management, wider region, and client HSE representatives.
  • Provide HSE support to the region as required, including travel to other sites within the region.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH & IOSH qualifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
