We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Dietician to join our team at HCA within London Bridge Hospital, rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

London Bridge Hospital is one of six world-class hospitals within HCA, offering the highest standards of clinical skills and nursing care across various specialties.

As an Advanced Dietitian, you will play a leading role in our dietetic inpatient service, providing advanced dietetic care within gastroenterology and general inpatient areas.

Your responsibilities will include the nutrition and dietetic management of patients who have had or are having colorectal, upper gastrointestinal, and HPB surgeries, as well as participating in organ transplant services.

You will contribute to service development and quality projects, incorporating relevant audit-based work and leading training sessions on evidence-based dietetic therapy.

  1. Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Dietetic Association (BDA).
  2. Extensive senior-level clinical practice in surgical gastroenterology, with advanced nutritional support experience, including parenteral nutrition management.
  3. Critical care experience is desirable but not essential, with cover required in this area and training provided as needed.
  4. Mentorship/supervision experience for junior staff members.
  5. Audit and/or research experience, as well as project development, implementation, and evaluation.
  6. Sound knowledge of current issues in dietetics.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
