As a Clinical Specialist in Paediatric Dietetics, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with other ketogenic dietitians, DA, and the Consultant Neurologist.

Our team is committed to delivering excellent patient care, while also promoting innovation and excellence in all aspects of our work. We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life, and we are dedicated to providing them with the support and care they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of the Paediatric Dietetic team at St George's Hospital, responsible for the nutrition and dietetic management of patients on Ketogenic diets.
  • Develop and implement Ketogenic diets for children with drug-resistant epilepsy and other conditions.
  • Take the clinical lead in providing expert care to patients, working closely with other ketogenic dietitians, DA, and the Consultant Neurologist.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in Paediatrics, with knowledge of working with Neurodisabled Children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Desirable: Experience in Ketogenic Diets, service development skills, and evidence of audit and research.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to good facilities, professional development opportunities, and the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
