Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Band 5 Dietitian to join our team of acute adult dietitians at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a fixed-term position for six months, starting in our general surgical rotation, where you will work alongside two other rotational Band 5 dietitians and the wider acute team based at our Denmark Hill site.

As a key member of our team, you will provide dietetic expertise to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals, while rotating to different clinical areas within the acute caseload at King's College Hospital.

Main Duties
  • Offer dietetic expertise to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Rotate to different clinical areas within the acute caseload at King's College Hospital
  • Develop your practice by shadowing specialties within your rotation, clinical supervision, and a preceptorship

Person Specification
  • BSc/Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • HCPC registered
  • Member of the BDA

Experience of enteral feeding, knowledge of dietetics within the NHS, experience of working in acute environments, and evidence of continuing professional development are essential for this role.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration and be willing to submit a Disclosure and Barring Service application.
