CBT Therapist for Younger People

We are seeking a highly skilled CBT Therapist to join our team at Pennine Care NHS FT, working with younger people. As a CBT Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality CBT assessment, formulation, and treatment to individuals experiencing moderate to severe common mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver CBT-based assessment, formulation, and treatment to clients referred to the service.
- Manage a clinical caseload, providing CBT to clients deemed appropriate for Step 3 intervention.
- Work towards national standard service targets, monitored closely by Stockport CCG and Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.
- Attend monthly clinical supervision to develop knowledge, skills, and promote access to clinical excellence.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- IAPT High Intensity training or doctoral clinical/counselling psychology with BABCP accreditation or working towards it.
- Experience of working as a qualified psychologist/CBT therapist or mental health specialist delivering CBT treatment.
- Ability to communicate clearly in difficult and complex situations.
As a CBT Therapist at Pennine Care NHS FT, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-performing service that provides innovative primary care psychological therapies. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers evidence-based treatments, including CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Counselling, and Interpersonal Therapy.
Our service includes practitioners who specialize in working with younger people and peri-natal clients, and we offer a range of group interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Living Well groups.
