Academic Leadership Specialist

A competitive salary of £85,000 - £95,000 per annum is offered for this key role. As a Regional Education Manager / School Improvement Lead with Qualified Teacher Status, you will be responsible for promoting the organisations virtues and spiritual ethos across schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote organisational values and ensure cultural alignment across schools to position it as a leader in educational excellence and innovation.
- Oversee safeguarding practices, providing guidance to school leaders to ensure compliance and a strong safeguarding culture.
- Support leaders in delivering relationship-based, inclusive education with ambitious curricula to achieve top-tier school performance by 2029.
- Lead rigorous appraisal and support processes to drive improvement, analyse school data, and build leadership capacity within the trust.
- Foster a supportive work environment, manage staff effectively, and champion professional development, CPD, and high-quality leadership.
- Collaborate on budget setting, report to Trustees, and ensure transparent use of resources, strengthening accountability in trust operations.
- Act as an ambassador for the organisation, creating networks and partnerships to enhance educational impact.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status.
- A proven track record as a headteacher, with evidence of exceptional school practice.
- Well-developed presentation and writing skills, comfortable with public speaking.
- Evidence of young person-centred thinking and practice, with an attitude that every young person has the capability to progress and achieve.
- Detailed knowledge of strategies for raising young peoples achievement and advancing effective teaching and learning.
- An excellent understanding of the schools sector and education more broadly.
- Confidence and knowledge of child-safeguarding issues.
