Job Title: Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Emergency Department.

As an Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with a wide range of conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise through ongoing training and education, including a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with a wide range of conditions
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet individual patient needs
  • Contribute to the development of our Emergency Department through quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of junior staff and students
Requirements
  • NMC 1st Level Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Paramedic/ Physiotherapist
  • Completed or working towards-Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or PGDip as a minimum
  • IRMER Regulation trained
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • EPALS
