Job Title: Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner to join our team at Transformation Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our emergency department.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As an Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with a wide range of conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and mental health issues.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to our patients. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, conducting assessments, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with a wide range of conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and mental health issues.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct assessments and provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in emergency care and advanced clinical practice.
Requirements
  • NMC 1st Level Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Paramedic/Physiotherapist.
  • Completed or working towards-Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or PGDip as a minimum must include: 1. Pharmacology 3. Clinical decision making and diagnostics.
  • IRMER Regulation trained.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • EPALS.
