About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Emergency Department.
As an Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with a wide range of conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise through ongoing training and education, including a bespoke RCEM trainee development pathway.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with a wide range of conditions, including those requiring emergency care
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and implement care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and preferences
- Contribute to the development of our Emergency Department, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and providing feedback
- Participate in teaching and mentoring of junior staff and students
- NMC 1st Level Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Paramedic/Physiotherapist
- Completed or working towards-Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or PGDip as a minimum must include: 1. Pharmacology 3. Clinical decision making and diagnostics
- IRMER Regulation trained
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- EPALS
