Emergency Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our emergency department.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced practitioner to take on a leadership role in our emergency department. You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the development of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our emergency department
- Lead and mentor junior staff to ensure high-quality patient care and departmental development
- Contribute to the development of our department through participation in quality improvement initiatives and education
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- NMC 1st Level Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Paramedic/Physiotherapist
- Completed or working towards a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or PGDip
- IRMER Regulation trained
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- EPALS
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team within an acute healthcare setting
- Evidence of involvement in direct supervision and leadership in teaching and mentoring of junior staff and students
