Emergency Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our emergency department.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide expert clinical care to patients in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and to support the development of other team members.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives that promote patient safety and satisfaction.
- Registered Nurse or Paramedic/Physiotherapist with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an emergency department setting.
- Completed or working towards a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or a related field.
- IRMER Regulation trained.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
