Nutrition Support Worker

We are looking for a skilled Cook to join our team at Choice Care. As a key member of our residential care staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy meals to our residents in a safe and hygienic environment.

The Role of the CookThe role of the Cook is to prepare and serve healthy meals to residents in our homes. This includes overseeing weekly budgets and shopping lists, managing kitchen inventory, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
You will work closely with other staff members to ensure that meals are prepared and served on time, while also catering to the dietary needs of our residents.

Responsibilities- Create balanced and appealing menus for residents
- Prepare and serve meals in a safe and hygienic environment
- Manage weekly budgets and shopping lists
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Familiarize yourself with residents' dietary needs and preferences
- Organized and willing to learn
- Committed and enthusiastic approach
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and service
- Satisfactory written and verbal communication skills
