Healthcare Support Worker
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assist colleagues during examinations and treatments, promoting patient dignity and comfort.
- Ensure infection prevention policies are always adhered to.
- Theatre support as required.
- Support in cleaning-up and restocking work areas after use.
- Undertake relevant training in medications management and unpack medications to storage facilities.
We are looking for an individual with recent reception and general clerical work experience or recent Healthcare Assistant experience. You should have a good understanding of the Data Protection Act and code of confidentiality. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook is also essential.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats. Accurate keyboard skills and general office skills are required. Willingness to undertake relevant training and offer flexibility of working to meet the needs of the service is also necessary.
This is a part-time position, working two days per week, with the possibility of every other Saturday at our Maidenhead clinic. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience. Estimated salary: £23,696 per annum (assuming 22 hours per week).
