Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our customers, and we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team in Inverness.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in tendering and contract management.
Key Responsibilities- Acting as principal point of contact between March and customers throughout the bid process.
- Managing the bid process, working closely with customers and stakeholders.
- Taking off quantities from tender drawings and issuing ITTs to MARCH supply chain.
- Reviewing and assessing quotations, building up rates using estimating software.
- Presenting bids for tender adjudication and approval.
- Strong mechanical background and experience in construction or engineering.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Pc literate with knowledge of MS applications.
- A competitive salary range £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
