Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior QS to join our established team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of Commercial & Residential Projects and be able to take advantage of opportunities for growth and development within our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the architect and the client.
  • Engage existing supply chain and select subcontractors.
  • Monitor and control costs throughout the project.
  • Identify risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation.
  • Track changes to the design or actual work and adjust budget projections.
  • Value completed work and arrange payments to subcontractors.
  • Analyse progress and write detailed reports.
  • Liaise between site managers, project managers, site engineers, and the client.
  • Prepare summary reports for the client and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Run cost analyses for ongoing repair and maintenance work.
  • Advise on outstanding contractual claims.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Quantity Surveying Degree.
  • Min 5 years post-qualification experience in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • A UK driving license.
