Job Title: AI Governance Lead

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our efforts in AI governance, ensuring that our AI systems are developed and deployed with the highest ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a robust AI ethics framework that guides the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI systems.
  • Lead initiatives to establish a culture of responsible AI use across the organization, promoting ethical considerations in AI applications from design to deployment.
  • Collaborate with legal departments to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations surrounding data use, storage, and movement.
  • Design and implement solutions that ensure compliance visibility and provide training programs focused on responsible AI principles.
  • Actively engage with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and technology partners to advocate for ethical AI practices and represent the organization in external forums.
  • Implement impact assessments for all AI projects to evaluate their ethical, social, and legal implications.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in responsible AI, data ethics, strategy development, and execution.
  • Expertise in AI ethics and governance, with a strong understanding of the ethical issues associated with AI, such as bias, fairness, and transparency.
  • Strategic leadership and policy development skills, with the ability to lead organizational strategy around responsible AI and influence internal policies.
  • Advanced technical skills to understand and critique complex AI and machine learning technologies.
  • Effective communication and advocacy skills to articulate complex AI and ethical concepts to diverse audiences.
