Government AI Strategy Consultant

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is dedicated to enhancing revenue, adoption, and growth across a diverse range of clients, from small and mid-sized enterprises to large public sector organizations. The AWS Global Support team collaborates with leading firms to deliver exceptional support aimed at ensuring customer success.

The Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) International Central Government team is on the lookout for a Government AI Strategy Consultant to spearhead AI-driven initiatives with public sector clients. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned AI expert with a proven history of executing large-scale projects within government and regulated sectors, acknowledged as a global authority in AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance to public sector entities on complex challenges.
  • Promote effective AI methodologies at the executive level.
  • Cultivate relationships across various public sector organizations.
  • Deliver thought leadership and training initiatives in AI for operational leaders.
  • Create comprehensive AI solution frameworks for clients.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

About the Team: The International Central Government Team (ICG) supports operational leaders in expediting modernization efforts through cloud technology. The team is led by former public service executives who leverage their expertise to assist clients in achieving successful digital transformations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience leading government transformation initiatives.
  • More than 10 years in government financial modeling and business case formulation.
  • At least 5 years in government digital service delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to articulate value propositions and visions for change to senior public sector stakeholders.
  • Experience in implementing open data strategies and mapping.
  • Extensive technical expertise in AI and machine learning.
  • Significant international leadership experience.
  • Established track record of building relationships with senior executives.
  • MBA or equivalent educational background is preferred.
