Senior Consultant for AI Regulation and Governance

Salary: £88,000 - £95,000 - £8k Bonus + Pension

Location: London - Hybrid working

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Formulating frameworks and processes for the ethical governance of AI technologies.
  • Establishing governance protocols throughout the AI development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment.
  • Creating technical assurance methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including familiarity with global AI regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.
  • Representing the organization in discussions surrounding AI ethics and governance.
  • Utilizing your expertise to contribute to the development of assets and propositions related to AI regulation.
  • Ensuring that internal teams are well-informed about the latest trends and advancements in AI governance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in AI regulation and governance within industry, government, or professional services.
  • In-depth knowledge of strategy, data governance, and AI/machine learning principles.
  • Ability to provide strategic insights on AI governance to senior management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills developed through interactions with various organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex AI and regulatory concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background.
