Senior Consultant in AI Regulation and Governance

Salary: £88,000 - £95,000 - £8k Bonus + Pension

Location: London - Hybrid working

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Designing comprehensive frameworks and processes for the ethical governance of AI technologies.
  • Establishing essential governance protocols throughout the AI development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment.
  • Creating technical assurance methodologies to ensure AI solutions adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements, including familiarity with global AI regulations.
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.
  • Acting as a representative for the company in discussions surrounding AI ethics, ensuring our commitment to responsible AI practices is effectively communicated.
  • Utilizing your expertise to contribute to the development of assets and propositions related to AI governance.
  • Keeping internal teams informed and skilled in the latest advancements in AI regulation and governance.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in AI regulation and governance within industry, government, or professional services.
  • In-depth knowledge of strategy, data governance, and AI/machine learning principles. Strong understanding of AI algorithms and their business applications.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic insights on AI governance to senior management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, developed through collaboration with government entities and industry partners.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex AI and regulatory concepts to non-technical audiences, both in writing and verbally.
  • Experience in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background.
