This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Administrator to join our Perinatal Mental Health Team, working closely with clinical staff and team leaders to provide administrative support. The successful candidate will be based at DHSCP Claverhouse Social Work Offices, Dundee, and will be responsible for managing administrative duties, including patient referral and appointment systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Team Leader, Lead Psychologists, and clinical staff to deliver the service objectives.
  • Implement the integrated hub and spoke perinatal mental health team model, ensuring effective use of resources and a confident and competent workforce.
  • Work in partnership with the Maternity and Neonatal Psychology Service and Infant Mental Health Team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Build effective relationships with other services involved in women and birthing persons' care, including CMHTs and third sector agencies.
  • Support specialist workforce Perinatal and Infant MH training as required.
  • Ensure that the voices of those with lived experience and their families are central to service design, development, evaluation, and delivery.
  • Capture and utilize feedback and data to inform shared learning and service improvement.
  • Ensure that service provision and standards of perinatal care meet national recommended guidelines.
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. Previous experience or knowledge of patient referral and appointment systems is desirable, as is the ability to manage databases and use Microsoft packages, including Excel.

The successful candidate will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout their employment.
