This exciting opportunity is for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join a well-established service, contributing to its ongoing development. As a member of our integrated team, you will work collaboratively with nursing staff, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and medical professionals to deliver high-quality care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload under the supervision of a senior nurse and, in some cases, allied professionals. You will require a strong understanding of mental health conditions affecting older adults and be able to construct links with statutory and non-statutory agencies, as well as engage with the public to enhance and improve the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the promotion and development of the community psychiatric nurse service in all aspects of mental health care.
  • Manage a dedicated caseload, ideally with previous experience working with older adults with mental health issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver a 7-day service, operating between 9am and 5pm, with occasional weekend work.
