Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at The Airedale Group. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our internal digital transformation projects, working closely with key stakeholders to identify business needs and facilitate process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse current quotation systems and identify areas for improvement to enhance our operational efficiency and deliver high-quality services to our clients.
  • Document existing processes and workflows to understand pain points and inefficiencies, and develop detailed specifications for system enhancements based on gathered requirements.
  • Collaborate with design and sales teams to understand their needs and expectations, and ensure specifications align with business goals and user needs.
  • Work with finance teams to understand their requirements for system improvements and ensure seamless integration with back-office finance processes for order processing and financial reporting.
  • Identify potential vendors and evaluate their solutions against the specifications, and work with selected vendors to ensure successful implementation of the system.
  • Partner with the project manager to develop and execute project plans, monitor project progress, and ensure alignment with timelines and budget.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the project team, and support the implementation of the new quotation, CRM, and finance systems and processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support, and measure and report on the benefits realised from the new system.
Requirements:
  • Ideally Degree educated within a related field, with a minimum of four years' experience within a Business Analyst role.
  • Industry experience within design and installation would be highly beneficial, and proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies is essential.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements, and operational decisions.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems, and experience with digital transformation projects and knowledge of current digital technologies and trends.
  • Experience with CRM, Quotation, and Finance software would be highly beneficial, and ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
