We deliver inpatient and community-based care for people living in Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Trafford, and Wigan, as well as specialist services across Greater Manchester and beyond.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Community Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting service user and carer engagement and inclusion in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of community initiatives to improve service user experience and promote visible recovery
  • Liaise with partners and stakeholders to develop education, training, and employment opportunities
  • Provide information, reports, and statistics in line with service requirements
  • Work flexibly across the service and partner agencies
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • NVQ/Level 3 Community related qualification or equivalent experience
  • 12 months' experience working with diverse groups in the community and providing support to vulnerable/excluded groups
  • Effective oral/written skills and IT/Microsoft Word packages
  • Adaptable interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
