We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Slough. As an Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP), you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in our schools.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Help children and young people with more severe problems access specialist services.
- Support and facilitate staff in education settings to identify and manage mental health and wellbeing issues.
- Work with education environments to improve access to specialist mental health services.
- Provide training to schools' staff, parents, and carers on mental health and wellbeing.
- Actively promote whole-school approaches to developing and maintaining emotional health and wellbeing.

- A British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited or British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) EMHP training course or preparing to submit for accreditation.
- Confidence in assessing and delivering high-quality, outcome-focused, evidence-based low-intensity interventions.
- Ability to work in a school setting and collaborate with colleagues in Early Help, Social Care, and the wider system.
- Commitment to ongoing training and development.
