About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Educational Mental Health Practitioner to join our School-Based Mental Health Support Team in Slough. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children and young people, as well as their families and education staff, to provide high-quality mental health support and interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems
  • Help children and young people access specialist services using effective multi-agency collaborative working
  • Support education staff to identify and manage mental health issues
  • Work with education environments to increase access to specialist mental health services
Requirements
  • Graduate Certificate/Postgraduate Certificate qualification as an Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP)
  • Experience of working with children and young people, delivering evidence-based interventions, and training education staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively with education staff, families, and other agencies
