We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients
- Develop and implement new laboratory procedures and protocols to improve patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in biomedical science and apply this knowledge to improve patient care
- BSc degree in biomedical science or a related field
- Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
