Research Delivery Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Research Delivery Manager to join our Research and Innovation Directorate at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, management, and implementation of our Research Delivery strategic objectives.
  • Support UHNM colleagues to successfully manage their research delivery portfolio.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the research delivery team.
  • Oversee the management of the research delivery team to ensure a flexible and efficient approach to delivering research across all areas.
Requirements
  • Current Clinical registration.
  • Accredited GCP Certificate.
  • Health related degree.
  • Evidence of professional/academic development of Master's Level or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of professional development/management or leadership qualification or extensive experience.
  • Educated to postgraduate level in research methods or equivalent experience.
Key Skills
  • Extensive and demonstrable clinical experience in a research setting.
  • A very good understanding of the national research agenda and NIHR strategic objectives.
  • Extensive experience of leadership & management of research teams within the NHS.
  • Understanding of the Clinical Research Network /Regional Research Delivery Network structures and NHS structures.
  • Budget management and the ability to forecast financial sustainability inline with activity and growth.
