About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Research Delivery Manager to join our Research and Innovation Directorate at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Link with regional and national partners to advance UHNM Research Delivery
  • Support UHNM colleagues in managing their research delivery portfolio
  • Provide leadership and direction to the research delivery team
  • Oversee the management of the research delivery team

Person Specification
  • Current Clinical registration
  • Accredited GCP Certificate
  • Health related degree
  • Evidence of professional/academic development of Master's Level or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of professional development/management or leadership qualification or extensive experience
Key Skills
  • Extensive and demonstrable clinical experience in a research setting
  • A very good understanding of the national research agenda and NIHR strategic objectives
  • Extensive experience of leadership & management of research teams within the NHS
  • Demonstrate effective project management skills
  • Understanding of the Clinical Research Network /Regional Research Delivery Network structures and NHS structures.
  • Budget management and the ability to forecast financial sustainability inline with activity and growth.
