About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front Office Department Lead to join our team at Thainstone House. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supervising the hotel's front office service and supporting the manager in every aspect of the day-to-day running of the department.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will also possess good planning skills, flexible working hours, including weekends, and excellent personal grooming and presentation standards.

In this role, you will work closely with the management team to achieve high-quality customer service, contribute to sales initiatives, and train and develop staff to provide exceptional service. With a competitive hourly rate of £12.50ph and a comprehensive benefits package, we offer an attractive employment opportunity for those who are passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the front office team to ensure efficient and effective operation
  • Support the manager in managing the department's budget and financial performance
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
