About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Nurse Manager to join our team at Operose Health. As a Senior Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in leading our nursing teams to deliver high-quality patient care and services across our regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of nursing services across our regions, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to organizational policies and priorities.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, support, and advice to Lead Nurses and nursing teams.
  • Oversee the nursing teams within designated regions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.
  • Support the region with recruitment and retention of nursing teams.
  • Ensure effective induction for new Lead Nurses and ongoing mentorship to support their development.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Operations team to support the delivery of nursing KPIs and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee CQC nursing compliance and ensure policies are implemented and followed across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain an effective and informative regular Nurses forum to monitor service delivery issues and develop plans to improve services.
  • Lead on the clinical delivery of QOF and ES, ensuring maximum achievement of targets in nursing domains.
Requirements
  • Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and leading nursing teams.
  • Experience of primary care CQC inspections.
  • Ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care.
  • Excellent understanding of national and organizational policy.
  • Understanding of quality improvement programs and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of current political agenda influencing health.
  • Ability to identify training needs of self and team.
  • Leadership qualification (desirable).
