We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Nurse Leader to join our team at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Nurse Leader, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong leadership to your team, ensuring the smooth running of shifts and reporting concerns or incidents through the management structure.
- Act as the senior nurse on site, offering support and guidance to staff across all wards, and ensuring safe and adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Take an active role in project work to achieve high standards of clinical care, including Dementia Care Mapping and best practice in dementia care.
- Assist the ward Manager/Service Matron with the implementation and monitoring of action plans and performance plans for identified staff.
- Registered nurse qualification
- Experience of working at band 5 level
- Desire to work with older people with mental health problems and/or Dementia
