Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Primary Teacher to join our vibrant educational community in Thornton-Cleveleys. As a Key Stage 1 educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of young children.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 2 curriculum, emphasizing creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain a well-organized and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student engagement
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform teaching strategies and improve outcomes
  • Develop collaborative relationships with colleagues and parents to ensure effective learning experiences for all students
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK
  • Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements for KS1
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
