About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive Thornton-Cleveleys primary school community. As a Year 2 Primary Teacher, you will contribute to delivering high-quality education that fosters creativity, curiosity, and confidence in young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Year 2 curriculum, promoting academic achievement and personal growth

  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective learning experiences for all students
  • Develop strong relationships with parents and carers through regular communication
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK
  • Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements for KS1
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
