Dedicated Teaching Assistant for SEMH Support Role

A dynamic and supportive primary school in Cleveleys is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their hard-working staffing team.
The successful applicant will work with a number of SEN students identified with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) on both a 1:1 and group basis, focusing on the well-being and educational needs of these pupils.
Key Responsibilities- To support teaching staff in creating an inclusive and safe learning environment for all students
- To assist SEN students with SEMH needs in achieving their full potential through tailored interventions and activities
- To maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and carers
- Previous experience working with SEN students, particularly those with SEMH needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- Patient and sensitive approach, with a focus on encouraging and motivating students
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive school environment
- A competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
