Job Title: Academic Tutor

Job Type: Part-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Tutor to provide one-on-one learning support to a student in Maths and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored face-to-face tuition to meet individual student needs
  • Develop and adapt teaching methods to enhance student progress
  • Support students with homework, exam preparation, and skill development
  • Monitor and report student progress to parents and/or teachers
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in Maths and/or English
  • QTS preferred but not essential
  • Prior experience in tutoring or teaching
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to teach in a clear and engaging manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant subject area (or in progress)
  • Reliable internet connection for online tutoring (if applicable)
  • Flexibility to schedule sessions between Monday and Friday based on student availability
