Strategic Marketing and Business Development Lead

The Marketing & Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation within a professional services firm. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with strong analytical skills to support and accelerate the company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute costed business development and marketing plans for practice areas.
- Oversee budgets, track expenditures, and report regularly on spend and return on investment (ROI).
- Identify opportunities and market insights by analysing practices, competitors, and trends.
- Coordinate award and directory submissions, including drafting and organising required materials.
- Manage and update digital presence, including website content, social media calendars, and blog/article schedules.
- Liaise with communications teams on PR and media activities, and organise client mailings, events, and follow-ups.
- Support business development initiatives by organising pitches, presentations, and maintaining relevant marketing materials.
- Coach and upskill junior team members, working closely with the Head of Business Development on team development.
Requirements
- An academic background in Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing and business development within the professional services industry.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on key performance indicators.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Highly creative with an ability to identify and pursue business opportunities.
