Job Summary

The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Dermatology Department as a Slot Utilisation Administrator. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficient use of resources within our department, allowing us to provide timely care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contact patients ahead of their clinic appointments to ensure they are aware of their scheduled appointments.
  • Deal with patient queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Plan and coordinate the use of resources within the department to maximise efficiency.
  • Support the team with general administrative duties, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Requirements
  • Previous customer care experience, with a strong focus on communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good standard of English, with the ability to understand and follow complex instructions.
  • Understanding of the 18-week RTT process and the ability to work within this framework.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
