About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Slot Utilisation Coordinator in the Dermatology Department at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact patients ahead of their clinic appointments to ensure timely attendance.
  • Deal with patient queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Plan and coordinate resources to maximize utilization and minimize waiting times.
  • Support with general administrative duties and contribute to the smooth operation of the department.
Requirements
  • Previous customer care experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Good standard of English GCSE or equivalent.
  • Understanding of the 18-week RTT process.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
