Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a leading food service company in the UK, we are committed to delivering exceptional food experiences to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
  • Menu Development: Oversee and implement menu changes to ensure our food offerings remain innovative and appealing.
  • Customer Feedback: Listen and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of culinary professionals to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventories to maintain well-stocked kitchens and minimize waste.
  • Kitchen Hygiene: Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Culinary Expertise: Hold a City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in culinary arts.
  • Leadership Experience: Have experience supervising a team in a similar Chef role.
  • Food Safety Certification: Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate a flexible approach to working and adapt to changing kitchen demands.
